FWC Cares

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, its the only thing that ever has"

FWC Cares was launched in 2012 to highlight the impactful community outreach and philanthropic work that so many of our members take part in.  We share their stories to celebrate them, to share ideas and and to inspire others to give back to the communities in which they work and live.

We applaud you, thank you and encourage you to continue to help, give, create and serve. We would love to hear from you to learn more about how your company is involved within your community.  Please reach out to beth@fwcchicago.com with any photos and information on your projects, so we can continue to spread good will, charity and creative ideas to not just work within our communities, but for them.

This month we highlight the Christy Webber Landscapes team on their "Giving Back Service Project" for the Chicago Fire Department. Ten of their employees volunteered to transform and beautify the landscape at the historic Streeterville Firehouse, Engine Company 98.  Using a rendering created by their designers, the volunteers enjoyed cleaning and installing various trees, grasses, shrubs and plants to embellish the landscape surrounding the firehouse monument.

While continuing to protect and service our city, the team of Engine 98 showed appreciation by educating and providing lunch for Christy Webber employees.  Their team couldn't have asked for a more honorable and fulfilling experience!

Great job Christy Webber Landscapes!  Thanks for sharing!
