Come to our April Member Meeting for an update on the $3.6 billion RLE project, which includes:

- 5.6 mile heavy-rail transit line extension from 95th Street terminal to 130th Street
- Four new stations at 103rd Street, 111th Street, Michigan Avenue, and 130th Street
- Multimodal connections at each station would include bus, bike, pedestrian, and Park & Ride facilities
- New rail yard and rail maintenance shop

The Aspire Center for Workforce Innovation redevelops the vacant Robert Emmet Elementary School in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood. The scope of work includes structural demolition, renovation of the existing structure, and site development, including new utility services and storm detention system. The redevelopment includes a new 3-story addition featuring a new front entry facing Central Avenue and interior renovation for designated and future tenants. When completed, the project will contain a workforce training and career development center, a manufacturing training center, financial services retail space, community plaza and a parking lot.
