We have a jam-packed agenda, starting with our Annual State of the Association address by President Kendra Dinkins and the Annual Election of Board Members.

This will be followed by a two excellent informational presentations featuring:.

First off, we will have representatives from Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) Program to talk about business opportunities with CREATE.

Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) Program is a first-of-its-kind partnership between the U.S. DOT, State of Illinois, Cook County, City of Chicago, Metra, Amtrak and the nation’s freight railroads. A project of national significance, CREATE will invest billions in critically needed improvements to increase the efficiency of the region’s passenger and freight rail infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for Chicago-area residents.

This will be followed by with an update by the Lakeside Alliance on opportunities avialible with the Obama Presidential Center.

Lakeside Alliance is a joint venture between Powers & Sons Construction Company, UJAMAA Construction Inc., Brown & Momen, Inc., Safeway Construction Company, and Turner Construction Company. These five firms provide a team of experienced specialists who bring the most innovative solutions to the construction Industry.
