With protests against racial injustice at the forefront of news the past few months, race in America has become a topic of conversation. Anti-racism, allyship, white privilege, and performative activism are transforming from buzzwords to our vernacular. Join us for an interactive session to explore diversity and inclusion, unconscious bias, and ways to mitigate it. Bring your thoughts and an open mind for an eye-opening disucssion.
Presented by Lizzy Diaz-Ortiz, Senior Advisor, Governance and Inclusion at BMO Harris Bank where she leads regulatory compliance for diversity and inclusion laws focusing on affirmative action strategy, equal employment opportunity, and federal civil rights laws protecting against employment discrimination. She is a licensed attorney and earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Lizzy also holds a BS in Political Science from Florida State University.
