It’s a brand-new year and we’re getting things off to a great start.

For our January luncheon, we are pleased to have Shannon Andrews, Chief Procurement Officer of the City of Chicago’s Dept. of Procurement Services, as our keynote speaker.

Shannon will come speak to our members about the opportunities available with the City of Chicago.

The City of Chicago’s Department of Procurement Services is responsible for managing the public bidding and contracting process for various services for approximately 35 City departments and agencies. With more than 300 contracts awarded each year valued at approximately $1 billion, Chicago's procurement programs provide many contract opportunities for small businesses.

Shannon Andrews assumed leadership of the Department of Procurement Services on August 1, 2018.

Prior to her joining the City, Andrews served as the CPO of Cook County and she also served as the Director of Cook County Contract Compliance, where she managed certification of minority and women-owned firms and compliance related to County contracts.

Also - just added - members of the Lakeside Alliance will be in attendance to give us an update on the Obama Presidential Center.

Please join us for an afternoon of networking and as Ms. Andrews and the Lakeside Alliance share with attendees the opportunities available for doing business with the City of Chicago and the Obama Presidential Center.

A buffet lunch will be served.
